Airborne Digital Imaging System (ADIS)

Alabama Wing takes ADIS candidates through a collection of online and classroom exercises aimed at the software and photography techniques that we use in the wing.   Interested operators can contact Glenn Wilson to get on the list to train.  Typically, we have 3-4 training exercises each year, and after a student shows adequate proficiency utilizing our setup (software, gps, and cameras) we will let them be assigned tasks at wing-wide Search and Rescue Exercises (SAREX).  Interested operators should be highly computer literate, and it really helps if they can garner a recommendation from either their squadron commander or a currently certified ADIS operator.

If you are interested in becoming qualified as an ADIS operator, please contact Glenn Wilson.
